2. Find a firm that offers you an Independent Contractor status when you promote, and sell their products or services. Be sure the commission you’re paid is a generous one. It should be at least 40% on sales up to $300; beyond this amount the percent commission will go down as the sales price rises. Why? Because as the price rises the work you have to do is less. Thus, a 10% commission on a $25,000 sale = $2500, a nice piece of change.

3. Work out an arrangement and start part-time selling. If you have a good product or service you should be able to make big sales soon, bringing in significant commissions to you.
